Delete your account in the app
- Open VocabRecall and sign in to the relevant account.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Select Delete my account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
The deletion is immediate. It signs you out of your devices and cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@vocabrecall.app from the address associated with your account and use “Delete my VocabRecall account” as the subject. We may request verification to protect the account from a fraudulent deletion request.
Data we delete
Account deletion includes:
- account data and associated sign-in methods;
- your vocabulary knowledge and answer history;
- calibration results and learning progress;
- statistics, preferences, and synchronized data.
Data that may be retained
Technical logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostics. Transaction records that we are legally required to keep are retained only for the applicable legal period. Apple, Google, and other providers process their own transaction records under their policies.
Deleting your VocabRecall account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it first in the relevant store’s subscription settings.
