1. Definitions
App means VocabRecall, available for iPhone through the Apple App Store and for Android through Google Play. There is no browser-based version of the learning app.
User means a person who creates an account and uses the App.
Publisher means the company publishing VocabRecall. Contact: support@vocabrecall.app.
2. Acceptance
By accessing the App or creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The Publisher may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by email.
3. Access to the service
Main access to the App requires a paid subscription (see section 6). A trial may be offered depending on the store offer and your eligibility.
You need a compatible device and an internet connection for features such as sign-in, synchronization, and new content downloads. Some previously loaded learning functions remain available offline. The Publisher may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance.
4. Accounts
You can create an account with Google, Apple, or email. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and current.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your country.
- An account is for one person and may not be shared.
5. User conduct
You agree not to use the App for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, access another user’s account or internal systems, reverse engineer the App beyond rights granted by law, or use unauthorized bots and automated scripts.
6. Paid subscriptions
VocabRecall Pro is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are those of the store used for the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
- Manage or cancel the subscription from your Apple or Google Play account, not inside the App.
- Refund requests must be made to the relevant store.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its content, features, graphics, sounds, and source code belong to the Publisher and are protected by intellectual-property law. The Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for private use.
Data you create, such as custom words and progress history, remains yours. You grant the Publisher the rights needed to store and display it as part of the service.

Our processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Availability and liability
The App is provided as is. Although the Publisher works to provide a reliable service, uninterrupted availability and the complete absence of defects are not guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for indirect loss, including loss of data, time, or profit resulting from use of the App.
10. Termination
You can delete your account from the App settings at any time. The Publisher may suspend or terminate an account after notice in the event of a serious violation of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the competent French courts, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
